Our Resource Information and Support Centre is a welcoming place where you can access a wide range of information and resources or simply call in and have a coffee and a chat with one of our volunteers.

Our services are available to everyone, including those who are affected by mental illness, addictions or disability, seeking well being for themselves or others, and those working in the mental health or social service sectors.

We have available:

  • A large range of free pamphlets, fact sheets and information on mental health, illness and related conditions.
  • Information on local support services available in the Wairarapa region.
  • A library with a wide range of books and DVD’s on mental health, addictions, relationship, parenting, self-improvement articles and other health related topics that can be borrowed for up to 3 weeks.
  • Local newspapers for job vacancies and community notices.
  • Internet access to mental health information and to update C.V.s, apply for jobs online etc.
  • Access to government services information
  • Access to educational and training course information
  • Facilities for students doing mental health research or studies.
  • Information on legal issues, human rights and privacy, health and disability.
  • Information in Te Reo and some Pacific Island languages.
  • Friendly, knowledgeable staff and volunteers to assist you in finding the right information and services to meet your needs.
